Spanish teacher, Mrs. Walters was sitting in the main lobby when we ran into her. Her students were participating in a scavenger hunt for Spanish III.

“It’s through an app called Goosechase, and all of the scavenger hunt clues are in Spanish,” Walters said. “So you have to understand what it is talking about. And then I’m able to watch their submissions and if they get it correct it stays up there and if not, I delete it and they try again. So they are getting to use their Spanish within the building without it being a chapter or unit. They are having fun with what they are learning.”

This is the second time Mrs. Walters has used the app in her class. The first time was a few weeks ago and her students really enjoyed it so she did it again.

“The next time we do it I’m going to have them create the scavenger hunt for the other teams so they get that ownership,” Walters said.
