Yesterday

I died at the

Foot of my

Best friend’s

Driveway

I sunk into the earth

With flowers

And

A sequence of

Angels

Appeared

Thank you

For coming

They said

But we still

Haven’t found him

Sometimes

I am the other way around

In my dream

You asked

What was important

To me

Why didn’t I say you?

Why didn’t I say

My best friend’s driveway?

I think I

Figured out

Poetry

Is just

A way to

Twist words

So they

Sound

Like they’re on fire

I still want to find God in a

7-11 gas station

Shaking along the split

I bet I could make him see me

I bet I could make him cry
